Billie is a great young trio that plays selected Billie Holiday songs in a sober and atmospheric format. The trio have picked out some of the lesser-known gems from Billie Holiday’s short but eventful life, and interprets them in both a nostalgic and contemporary way. The band, consisting of final year students at the Jazz Conservatory in Trondheim, really makes the songs their own and we look forward to hearing Billie live!
