Jamaican dub legends meet nordic cool.

The legendary Jamaican rhythm and producer duo Sly & Robbie has been active for almost half a century and has participated in countless recordings. Not only with the dub that they justifiably famous for, but also straighter things like Dylan, the Rolling Stones and Britney Spears, and occasional forays into jazz, where they have worked with the likes of Herbie Hancock.

Nils Petter Molvaer has never been noticeably keen of genre boundaries, and it is not the first time he looks to dub, but this time he goes really all in. When he has been joined by Norway’s broadest ranged guitarist Eivind Aarset and electronica jewel Vladislav Delay, this can quickly become a night for the history books! It is fat with warm bass lines, smoky drums and Nordic reverberations. Rom-toddy for the soul!
