The stage is set for a gala evening in sub- and DIY-culture when Nakama Records curates a wonderful Saturday night! The label symbolizes the newly established generation of impro musicians, and this Saturday we are served a bunch of label releases live. In addition, there will be door prizes, special guests, plenty of merch, pre-release of new recordings, and most of all: a party!
Improvisation, truth, joy, doubt, and none the least jazz, are some of the topics Philosophers consider in their musical universe. They seek to unite the tradition-rich string quartet with computer and synth in an improvised play with powerful sounds, delicate breaths and surreal stories.

Two violins seem to produce an overall sound that is much greater than the sum of its parts, a sound with enormous dynamic and timbral variations. The duo Jinchuuriki embrace both the eclectic and the longer lines, and they seek to discover a place where both music and nerves coincide.

Here are three musicians with quite different backgrounds and experiences who are draw together through curiosity of the piano and its countless possibilities. The trio’s sophisticated real-time composing reflects both the musicians’ individual style and their orientation towards ensemble-play and interaction.
