Edition Records is one of the most exciting new labels in the UK right now. Exclusively for Conexion we get to hear a whole new chamber jazz ensemble that sprang up from this environment. Edition Quartet consists of two Norwegian and two British musicians: saxophonist Marius Neset, tuba player Daniel Herskedal, pianist Dave Stapleton and drummer Josh Blackmore. They bring with them the bassist Mats Eilertsen, who in recent years made a name for himself with his SkyDive-quintet, trio and several other arrangements.
