Rock-saturated powerjazz trio return with a vengance and a spanking new album

The hard-hitting Bushmen are out with a new album, and this time turn the amp a tiny notch down and nod with joy to the jazz trio from which they emerged back in the day. But don’t expect acoustic late-sixties jazz. It is still hard compositions that reverberate like a concrete floor under Hermansen’s always sizzling, rock-marinated guitar.

After an side project with Kjetil Møster and David Wallumrød (check out the live album!) they are back as the tightest triumvirate this side of Caesar. Between Bushman’s and Hedvig Mollestad, the question of who is the toughest power trio comes down to a matter of taste. We take both any day!
