Wholehearted melodic beauty

Harald Lassen has made a mark for himself in the new jazz and progressive music scene. The duo Duplex is almost naked, with a sound cut back the bone; in Pixel we get groove, melody and the lyrical; and in the avant-hiphop sextet Mopti & Bendik Baksaas, space is the place! But common to all is the joy of good melodies, the importance of jazz history and an unmatched desire to explore.

Lassen now presents a brand-new quartet with an explosive Norwegian rhythm section, and a rising piano star, the wonderful Bram De Looze from Belgium. The quartet builds on Lassen’s Rainbow Sessions, which Dagsavisen called "Acoustic jazz at its best" and DN "One of the year’s most important jazz releases". This one sits in the heart, so come and feel it beat!
