Dane Jakob Bro is often compared with Bill Frisell. They have the same clear and airy Fender tone, and they share the reluctance to pile on unnecessary frills. But Bro is unmistakeably his own man. Stricter and undoubtedly more European in style. Intense, but never insistent. Lyrical, but without being flowery.

Since we last saw them Jon Christensen has left the band and been replaced with Joey Baron - longstanding sideman to the said Frisell and John Zorn's right hand. The new crew coming to Victoria released the album Streams on ECM in the fall. The reception has been very good and we gladly await this concert!

Jakob Bro - guitar, Thomas Morgan - bass, Joey Baron - drums
