The mini festival Tape to Zero takes over Victoria for the fifth time, and it's going to be an outstanding anniversary! Tape to Zero has established itself as the festival where acoustic dances with electricity. It's a dangerous and potent mix of experimental jazz and combative ambient electronica. New names and old hands mix challenging and boundary-pushing sounds with the readily available to serve up a cocktail to suit everyone with open ears.

22.00 Tim Exile

Tim Exile is perhaps the person who has gone furthest in fusing the technical possibilities of electronic audio technology with the spontaneity of acoustic music. He is associated with both Warp and Planet Mu, and makes every concert a fresh and eclectic experience, drawing musical sources both internally and from the public.

“I wanted to master the act of improvisation—to be completely free on stage, free from the shackles of repertoire, back catalog and the need to meet the expectations of people who came to see me play by performing tracks I’d made that people recognize.”

(Tim Exile, XL8R Magazine 2015)

Tim Exile is presented in collaboration with Notam. ; Here you find the event Talk with Exile H 13.00 at Notam. And  Facebook here.
