In autumn 2011, Knut Værnes got a call from Omar Hakim and become part of a recording which took place in Oslo when Hakim had some free days in connection with a tour. It lit a spark in Knut and a new album was born this summer. In many ways, Værnes looks back on his early jazz and rock heroes; Mahavisnu Orchestra, Weather Report, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page, but he has also come up with an exciting, groovy and highly accessible electric jazz creation. Omar Hakim was called back, and now the band has put the party on the road!
