Smokefilled club jazz heading South

Bassist Raknes has really proved to be confident in the heat - mixing tangos and bossa-ballads in a sizzling cocktail of jazz, folk and Latin music, an unmistakable smile appears on all involved! The sold-out concert last year is witness to the appeal of this quartet that consists of four lyrical musicians gathered for a spearhead of power and tone. It sounds inspired, cross-pollinating and well self-assured. The band are all strong instrumentalists with sax veteran Inderberg at the pointy end of the lineup. Here he really gets to play with his spontaneous expression and all his musical depth.

It is unmistakably club jazz at its very best, smoke filled with a hint of both chilli and brown cheese.
