Yes, it's jazz, and it's young!

The first Norwegian jazz bands popped up nearly one hundred years ago. Since then, we've been fortunate to experience little of everything within music – but also within jazz. Genres and sub-genres have risen, ruled and decayed; and we have both 'old jazz' and 'new jazz' and everything the heart and ear can covet. What's the current state of jazz? We can hear it now!

DUO:i aims to reach out to all music lovers with a large dose of love for good, old fashioned soul and old and new jazz standards.

The quintet Granny Smith consists of four Norwegians and a Swede that met studying music at Birka Folk High School in Sweden last year. Since then the have been creating modern and groovy jazz that combines beautiful melodies with harsh rhythms. This will be apple-fun and a fast pace!

Daisy is a duo that is ready to take over the Norwegian scene with great sounds and intense beats. With knowledge and inspiration from jazz and pop history, in addition to a solid dose of individuality and originality, they sing, drum and turn-out really beautiful songs for you.

Thea Emilie Wang - vocals, Henrik Håland - drums

Shakai have concern for the socially bent and misunderstood love. With elements from pop, jazz and dark blues, this band is an experience live!
