A style setting voice in Norwegian pop. Since her debut in 2006, Elvira Nikolaisen has delivered solid albums and heartfelt, soulful and everlasting songs. A few years back she perhaps revealed how much power and inspiration she was capable of when the delightful album "I Concentrate on You" came out, in tandem with another strong voice, the almost magical tone of Mathias Eick. On this album we got the distinctive experience of selected ballads from the world of jazz, from what is commonly called "the great American songbook." Together the duo found a warm, subdued and soulful approach to these immortal songs and the result was very well received by record buyers, press and a full, joyous house at Victoria.
